Whenever I have my own backyard the first thing coming in (after a picnic table) is chickens!! I grew up with chickens on our ranch in Colorado and loved them. We had an eclectic group of fliers that were all my little pets and I really enjoyed collecting their fresh eggs. Can't wait until I can have them again someday! These little cuties were being sold at the flower and garden show that I attended today; wish I could secretly keep them in my backyard but my landlord lives right next door so not much room for smuggling chickens.
