SUMITS HOT YOGA


Its been WAY too long since I last practiced hot yoga {actually since I worked out at all} but I finally purchases a groupon to start up again and I am so glad I did! It is a crazy good workout and does incredible things for your body! Here we are two days after class and I am STILL sore!

On top of the great body benefits, I also think yoga is great for your mind. I am certainly not a yogi die-hard but I really do think it helps you relax and get focused. I also always feel healthier when I go {possibly because you see yourself in the mirror in basically a swim suit for 1.5 hours a class!} if that's not motivating what is!?! I also am much more aware of my water intake before and after class.

Sumits Hot Yoga is well worth the investment and if you keep your eye on groupon you can get yourself a great deal too! The locations here in Boise run them often. Check out their site

RUN WITH YOUR HAIR DOWN


Honestly one of the most empowering {and random} things I have ever done. When I went on my afternoon run today my hair was in a bun and was falling out so I took it out to redo it and realized it actually completely changed my attitude having my hair down. It was just so freeing.

Now, please note that I most definitely sweat when I run, but having my hair down wasn't really an issue until post-run {then I was hot and it needed to go up!}. If you have the desire to try something out of the box and hippy-inspired give it a try!

Haven't been spending enough time with these guys lately, but on a kick to change that! These are a lighter dumbbell (only 8 pounds) but I get a great workout in with them. Sometimes I make a workout up off the top of my head but recently I have been using them along with my Nike Training app. There are great fast and effective workouts on it!!
